I have a welsh corgi we are taking a 17 hour trip would that be good to take it.
We have been traveling with our Corgi's since they were small puppies. They do really well, as long as we limit the potty breaks to 4-5 hours in the car. They travel in crates and ususally settle down and sleep after about 10 minutes on the road. Don't forget to take water and schedule your trip for feeding/potty etc.

i hate when people assume all dogs from a certain breed are exactly alike because that is not the case at all it depends on the dog and how you have raised it. is it used to car rides? is he potty trained? does he get car sick or nervousness? those are all factors in if that dog is a good car rider. remember, regardless of the looks and breed, no dog is alike

They're not exactly a quiet lapdog. But only you know your dog.
If you are intent on taking him, just make sure that you stop every so often to let him go to the bathroom and even make a plan to stop at a park or two on the way to give him a good run to expel some energy. Its not a bad idea to tire him out before you leave, either. Keep water in the car for him.
