Right now I have a 2 yr old chihuahua and I’m planning to get a pembroke welsh corgi puppy.
I’m not really sure if the corgi would be mean to the chihuahua when the puppy grows up.
Thanks!
This isn’t a breed or size issue. This varies from dog to dog. I’m more concerned about the Chihuahua being mean to the Corgi. Introduce them, and don’t leave them alone together until you know the Chihuahua will be nice.

It will vary from dog to dog. I have a chihuahua and a pit mix that get along great. However, I know people that have told me numerous times that chihuahuas are “only pet” animals. I know that’s traditionally true of them. They tend to be very territorial dogs, especially of their favorite person. I would consider seeing how your chihuahua is with other dogs before adding a new one into the mix.

The Chihuahua would probably be mean to the pembroke welsh corgi puppy. They are evil little things, but so darn cute!

It takes time to introduce a puppy to an elder dog. If its not done right there could be fighting amoung the animals and there may be some dominating issues. Here is a site on how to properly introduce your dog to your new puppy.
PS lol little dogs are very territorly so it could take time GOOD LUCK
